When I asked Abi about how she and Andrew originally met, she laughed as she exclaimed, “Actually, the first time we met, he didn’t even speak to me!
” While they had both expressed possible interest to each other through their mutual friend, as soon as they were all together grabbing food and beers at Buffalo Wild Wings that night when they first shared a table, Andrew didn’t talk to her.
I noticed their difference in personalities – Abi was excitable, and determined, and said it like it was, while Andrew carried an air of quiet and calm.
While I got to see these traits in action at our first meeting, as well as during their engagement session, I had a chance to see how perfectly these qualities not only complemented each other, but also brought out a different side in each of them on their wedding day.
As Abi kicked her feet up and relaxed on their party bus, Coors Light in hand, Andrew was singing along to the song coming through the speakers with arms around his groomsmen – excitably, with a smile plastered across his face much like the one Abi was always donning.
Their day allowed for plenty of these moments, and I got that opportunity to see just how much these two had not only meshed as they’d fallen in love, but also helped each other find their perfect balance individually as well.
